both the cushion and the back are in good shape

HI I too have a 1970 Sprint 29, I'm sorry I can't help you with the seat, but do you know what the original decals were or do you have a pic of them. Also do you know a reliable place to find parts for that sled. I'd also like to see some pics of yours and I can send you pics of mine. Thanks in advance

Two people that come to mind right away: Brandt Hansen at Rupp Parts & Performance is a great guy to deal with - he is on this board quite often and has a web site at www.ruppparts.com. Also, Bill 'Elvis' Stull is probably one of the most knowledgable Rupp people in the business - his site is ruppshop.com/ - both guys are very reasonable in their pricing and have a ton of NOS Rupp parts.
