Oh yeah! I was thinking the same thing if I could find a Rupp gas tank? it has a Bing 32mm carb and a 1251/6D motor, they tell me they make some power I heard the RMX was a Penton? and is penton made by Sachs? Thanks crazyruppguy for the heads up

RMX is not a Penton, it is a true Rupp built in Mansfield and used the 6B Sachs engine Penton was made by John Penton and used a Sachs engine
The Hercules frame is different than the RMX, so a Rupp tank may not fit

Thanks Brandt, I wasn't sure, I do know the Rupp tank is differant, I tried to find info on this bike and the guru's are stumped. From what info I can find so far, it's a six days style race bike it says mfg in West Germany , date "blank" built exclusively for competition circuits. I have been away from cycles for about 19 years .

Cory, wishful thinking....lol
SACHS was the largest manufacturer of two-stroke motorcycle engines in Europe during the fifties, sixties and seventies. These engines were used by many motorcycle manufacturers, HERCULES being the most important of them.
HERCULES belongs the SACHS group and the HERCULES bikes were sold under the SACHS or DKW brand in some countries, Australia for instance. Perhaps the most interesting bike HERCULES built was the W 2000, sold in some markets as the DKW W 2000. This was the first production bike with a 27HP SACHS rotary engine.
