WEll Well Well look what Pops found! Sitting in this guys garage for 25 years. A complete 340 with 3 band track, original skies, engine air box side pad and seat. Just needs some TLC and it should be ready to go.

Pops has been working on some new code to integrate into the google earth program that scans an area via satellite to locate rupp sleds that are in the area. He said that the initial run located 4 rupps that were sitting outside within a 5 mile radius of the house. He said the problem with larger area scans is that it keeps locking onto St. Johns MI? Greg get all those sleds covered up! The next step is to boost the satellite scans so we can see into structures and find sleds like he found above. The only way he found this one was that the guy had the barn door open for a long period of time so it gave the satellite time to make several orbits and multiple scans.

Ok Joe first of all the garage is only 21 years old that it was stored in and you might tell everyone you used to race that sled.

No he didn't pick up that cover. But i know where it is. What would you give for it? Is in good shape. Only has one tear about 4" long right next to a seam that could be easily fixed.

Pops told me that that was the chassis that we ran the mod in. I thought that the chassis was all drilled out? The mind is the first thing to go.

Nope the only thing drilled out was the right lower fiberglass were the pipe exited. Your dad did notice there was some work done on the tunnel up front. He will not know how bad it is until he tears into it. One thing if he gets this one looking like the 440 it will be sharp.
