Could anyone help me decide what this is? I can't find any motor or tunnel numbers. The tach, speedo, and cylinder temp gauges are mounted on the hood (assuming a previous owner did this). All our sleds were 73 n up so i don't know. Any help would be greatly appreciated! 8.jpg[/IMG]

It's a 1971 Sprint 34 or 44,depending on motor size. Check the distance on carb mounting bolt flange,if it measures 3",it's a 440;if it measures 2",it's a 340. The motor is a Tohatsu. The gauges on hood, done by previous owner. The bottom lower panels should be plastic,or could be fiberglass,if replaced at some time.

your machine has a magnum hood. look where the windshield screws are.also the lack of a lip for a sprint windshield.tohatsu engine is a big block (400/440) as indicated by the size of the coil cover.god knows wheather the chassis is a magnum or a sprint but certainly seems to be a 1971.

I see a lip about an inch before the side gages (follow it around to the sides). Narrow tunnel, (the toolbox indicates it), and the large engine tells me it's a 71 Sprint 44.
