I did one of these. Lots of fun. The thing would rattle tour teeth out at about 35 mph. Mine had the plastic fuel tank which is rare as most were replaced with steel. Have fun dc

I took it to one of Dennis Bernings Rupp get togethers and ran it through the lights. Somehow i was the slowest of the day.......... ?. Any way the little 300 ran great but shure shook like hell. I do not remember if it actualy made 35, It could have been the adrenaline rush. dc

Hey sticks, have you done anything to this sled??? ::)Yep it went from the back of the truck to the top shelf in the shop and thats the last time I looked at it! It's sad but I just don't have the time to work on them like I did a few years ago. Business and kids are both growing and they both take priority right now! The big thing with a old sled like this one is we got it inside and we can keep it from rotting outside in the dirt and sun and being crushed for scrap! It will be there for me to work on in my senior years (which isn't to far off)
