I bought a '75 Rupp Centaur trike, motor is locked up. I have heard that an Arctic Cat motor may interchange. I am not a mechanic but thought I would try to get this trike on the road. Anyone know about the Centaur trikes?

Can't tell if arctic will fit, I just bought a 1975 all disassembled. It has a ccw in it. The previous owner said he ran it around the yard and then disassembled to restore, but his son died and he lost all intrest.
The same day I bought a 1974 that is also disassembled. A old Rupp dealer had bought it new and left it in pieces in his barn. I haven't seen it to know what is there for a engine. This one has never been sold to anyone. My oh my I must have lost my mind. Don at dam@netonecom.net or 231-642-1832

Thanks for the reply. I am new to message boards. What is a CCW? I am not a mechanic and quite illiterate about mechanics. Getting ready to retire and thought this would be a good fun project. Ohhhhh.....found out how little I know. So, I have spent a lot of time on the internet searching for info. Sounds like you were pretty lucky to find a new one.

The Rupp Centuars ran a 340 kohler AS with oil injection.

I have a running Kohler 340 that came out of a Centaur. It looks to be complete. PM me for more info,if interested.
