Did a bit of cleaning, and a few little fixes, on my '72 Rupp "Nitro" 295 (see my earlier post for the "" reason!)...replaced the broken side panel, replaced some hood latches and broken reflectors, took off the stupid looking Sport airbox, replaced the Scott grips with Rupp ones, trimmed the cracked windshield, installed a Rupp snowflap, some fuel lines, added new fuel...and it runs like a top! Gonna use it for some rides this Winter, as is, then do complete "refresh" next Spring/Summer!     |

I think we should call it aNitrogue It does sound very nice and I'm sure it will make a great rider! Good luck with it.
I have a very nice 72 295 Nitro I was lucky enough to get from Joe and Glenda, and although it is not totally correct either, I love the changes on it and couldn't be happier with it!
I also have several 73 295 Nitro's, one that I race and have had great luck and durability with over the last 3 years, and just about to replace the entire top end with NOS parts just to freshen it up a bit! I hope the new parts don't kill it! LOL!
