Like what Kevin stated make sure about that fuel pump. I've had them go bad and it actually leaks gas by straight into the crankcase. It will fill up right to the bottom of the cylinder. If you try running it like that the piston will hydro lock and could snap off the rod. Luckily I caught my problem before damage resulted. But I've pulled motors apart that had the left rod snapped off.

Try to put different same kind of spark plug and see if does any trick. I had that problem in many times. Whenever I get down to one, because I check the exhaust pipe, i only feel the left one is cold and right one is hot. took the left spark plug and can see wet and oily on plug. So I put the other clean one and works great.

Pay attention to the advice given to you by red19lite, just rebuild the pump, and likely your troubles will be over. Been there, done that. MANY times over !!

Ok well I seem to have both cylinders firing now, but the sleds throttle just runs away on me. Once I get it started it just revs up to full power and i have trouble getting it to idle down. Ideas? Thanks. Fuel pump has been checked and cleaned, screens are good.

Did you have the throttle slides out? One or both could be hung up, The jet needle is not inserted into the needle jet. dc
