Just picked her up yesterday, A 73 Michigan magnum stored inside its entire life, never raced and barely riden, all original, 98 miles. Cant wait to change the gas lines and fire it up....... no touch up paint nothing, still has the plastic windshield wrap around the screws.

WOW !!! More pictures please !!! Do you have them long springs that hold the pipes in place ?? I have a hard time ever finding anyone that knows where those springs actually hook up to. So I just guessed when I did my sled.

WOW!!! Nice find!! Thats very rare to find a race sled that is next thing to new like that. Was the guy a collector or just have this one sled sitting in storage?

with luck finding stuff like that sled, ed should be buying lotery tickets too, talk about needle in a haystack, glad i dont have the tohastu free air addiction, i probaly be mad as hell about this fine he must smell them out like a old hound dog  |

I will post more pics, I'm a little slow at that......this is the protective plastic for the windshield that is still around the mounting screws, josh it does have the springs on the pipes I will take pics of that also.

PLEASE take as many pictures as you can of wiring harness details gas line routing etc. This is a real time capsule that should be recorded for future builds  thanks GARY |

LOL im sure the grandkids will get the bug if they dont already, as far as eddie having 73 magnum(s) can you ever get enough? My dad bought a new one early in 73 and I remember him selling it to a family friend only after about a month or so. I think he thought I might get hurt. But that is what fuels my addiction just due to the memories of riding a new 73 Rupp Magnum back in 73 and now this comming winter after 40 years I will again relive the memory of riding that new 73 magnum or almost new. Man cant wait, Ed |

Thanks alot Ed that would be great !!! Heres my email to make things simpler. kronstedt@tds.net That sled is unreal !!! I think most of the Rupp race sleds are more common in Michigan than anywhere else.
