1969 Rupp GTX 740,owned by a guy from MN,bought from the late Jerry Eve. It has dual straight pipes that exit thru the bulkhead. It won People's Choice!!! I should have bought this "unique",Polaris powered sled. Body is altered Model A&T parts. It is liquid cooled,it ran even. COOL!! These are the only pictures I took!! Too busy walking, talking & buying!!! Too much walking, had sore feet today.

Well,it was really too hot to work real hard today,so I took my Nitro TR295S-3 engine & put it on my bench.Took plugs out, shot some WD-40 in & also shot some WD-40 through the exhaust ports. Pulled it over a few times, put plugs in,shot some pre-mix into the carb,it started on 3rd pull. It sat there running just as nice as could be,I was surprised because the guy I got it from, said it hasn't been run for awhile!! This engine was CHEAP also!!! Ok, now I look at the engine I took out of the 71 WT I bought at Princeton. Yup,it has a green tint to it from sitting outside, the sled was JUNK. 1 coil was busted, but 1 was still intact. Again, pulled the plugs & shot some WD-40 in & shot some in through the exhaust ports. I pulled it over a few times, feels really good. I didn't try to start it.BUT it does have SPARK on number 1 cylinder!!! Some of the dirtiest engines have given me the best results. Again, the price was cheap. OK,now the 3rd engine, also a TR440,was stripped down to case with crank in it.It came with a new piston,a CWM or CMW,I can't remember, but it had 2 really thin piston rings, both were ordinary rings,no L rings. It was the B piston, the A piston was good, but no rings. Ok,the 4th engine, also another 440,was in a box of parts, both pistons were shot, one burned down, one starting, deep grooves in the piston between the rings.
