Does this mean the "Stud Boy" is going back together? Nice job Steve, it looks great! The original stud boy found its way back to the original creators Joe & Glenda, it has a New Look, I'm sure a pic will pop up. Rooney. |

Steve, nice sled. It's nice to see the 71 Rupp magnum sleds looking good. Looks like a nice set of shocks are in order, did you save a set?

Hi Ed, I knew someone would notice that, over the years I sold parts and a few sets of shocks were part of that, wish now I would have kept a set, I didn't figure on restoring any more Rupps, but when something pops up in a barn and you just can't resist restoring it, I have always liked the 71 Magnums and figuring I would not ever own one because they don't come up for sale often And because mine had all the hard parts to locate it was worth my time & money, now I wish I had that kill switch you got from me off this sled, but I'm glad I got that Nos carb from you for this restoration, I will have to keep an eye out for a set of shocks & brackets, I believe they were an option for the 1971 models. |

The only 71's I've seen without shocks are the sprints, wide tracks, trail sleds. Magnums all had shocks.
