Here are some shots of my New Summer Rupp Centaur. I was restoring one then came across this beauty on Craigs. Already done and done very well. Already put her on the road and it's awesome to ride. Has been upgraded to a 440 Kohler Liquid which is real improvement over the 340 Kohler Fan they came with. Would enjoy talking with other Centaur owners.

Sweet ride! I've seen that one out in your neck of the woods now for what seems like a year... was wondering who would end up with it! Sounds like the guy really made some nice upgrades to the original, you should enjoy it for many years to come. There is a real nice original posted on CL Minneapolis and I am so tempted as they just don't come up very often or that nice! Who knows, maybe we can chat owner to owner in the near future!

Way Cool!! Do they have a good way to get air flow over the motor? A F/C sitting behind the body would get pretty hot on a summer day and would think the liquid would be a big plus. What is top & cruisin speed on yours?

That is one sweet ride. Wish I had about $5000 extra dollars and some garage space right about now

Hi. New member here. I was huge into Rupps 15 years ago. I sold off my collection, bikes, books, posters, signs etc. I did have a mint Go Joe and 3 new factory bodies. I had a nice Ruppster and absolutely perfect restored Centaur towing a mint restored Rat. i sold those off to a collector in Ca. I'm from Ct. kinda got the bug again but I can see most Rupps are scooped up. Back then I had over 30 bikes, they where common to find. Doesn't seem to be the case?. Your collection is amazing. Glad to see the hobby is alive and doing well. Rob.

Thanks Stretch, WOW! those two together make quite a picture. Very nice. Thanks guys. I really miss the Centaur. To hear a snowmobile going down the road with a loud whine and see that huge shiny trike towing a trike was something else. I actually sold it for 7,500.00. Not many people owned one in their past and had to have another, so I let it go cheap. I sold the mold for the body, trunk, and fender to some guy out west for 1k. That included the Rat mold. Getting the front 16" rim and rear chrome rims was the hardest part. I finally got a new rim from Sun rims in Pa of which made the original rims for Rupp. I sent pictures out to Micky Rupp back then in 2000 and he signed them for me. I did 40 years of muscle cars, then classic Honda bikes as a Hobby and then moved into Rupps. I was so obsessed I even drove out to the original factory and walked around and took pics. one time I drove back roads from Maine to ct looking for an old Rupp place. By word of mouth at a general store I drove to a guys house and he had lots of Rupp stuff in his attic. For 500.00 I got parts, books, posters and signs. Yep those were the days. At Almost 60 I'm hobby less with less energy, but am thinking about playing around again. Not positive, but this is a great start.
