This is the dual drive shaft with the mounting brackets cut off. It has the hub & drive sprocket I will be using. Its just sitting on the shaft,NOT permanent yet After ALL the measuring was done, did it 3 times & double checked it again before tacking it in place. The aluminum spacer was up against the hub.I had a vise grip clamped on the end of aluminum stop. After the hub was tacked on one side,I took it apart & welded the hub on the INSIDE!!! Like they originally were. All I had was spacers from other front drives to take up the 3/8's inch gap, between the aluminum pieces. I'll probably leave it like this tho'.This will be going into a 1971 WT440.Getting rid of the dual drive track etc & putting in a center drive track,18x121". Am working on the rear axel shaft now. I suppose I could remake the snap ring groove & move the idler wheel in 3/8". I'll talk to my machinest & see what he says.

This is a hobby for me.If I would charge, then it becomes a business.I never want to turn a hobby into a purely profit thing.Sure,I sell sleds & parts for the monetary value,BUT I don't do it alot.People who need parts will be given a good deal, usually free or charged very little.I will help whenever the need arises. If some of you who live near me,need help, come on over, you will be helped.I'm not a genius by a long shot!! I like to think I have common sense,to sit down, think the problem through, fix the problem & try out the part that created the problem. If the how to do it's help just ONE person[even if that person should be me],the time it took to do it,plus posting pictures,it would be called a success in my book.Later.

Well said, Dan! Thought you'd like to know that your Apache took an Honorable Mention in the "Special Interest" Category at the show I was at today...figured it qualified for the category because they are pretty rare around here, AND it came all the way from North Dakota!!
