What should I use for ramps, weights and spring in artctic hex clutch for 76 Nitro liquid 440? Clutch has the small rollers at the weight arms.

Thanks for the specs! Any advantage using the 77-78 specs in a 76?

Ok, now I have some options! Will have to check my stock of ramps and weights- I have both short blue springs and longer green springs. Seams to me my 75 340 sno twister has 105 weights - twister ramps are custom twister profile with no #'s on them. I am on vacation in Bozeman right now! I was down by McCall Idaho watching some crazy people kayak in class IV whitewater! This afternoon I watched 3 guys BASE jump off the bridge over the Snake River in Twin Falls Idaho! This was most excellent entertainment!!!

What is Poo country? I use to buy new polaris sleds till 1997 then switched to Ski-Doo and been buying new ones every couple years since. New 2014 600 e-tec should arrive in October!

Hi Guys,
I realize this is an old thread, but still trying to get my 76 440 to launch. I've tried all kinds of things over the years using a 102c with poor results. I see some of you use a hex clutch, which I still have a few of, but my ramps are painted with a pink dot....no numbers. Looking at the Rupp parts book only lists rupp p/n ...which I haven't seen since digging through the bowels of certified parts warehouse dungeon. Can anyone shed light? Or should I just buy some 331 or 294 ramps? Thanks, John

A lot of people fail to realize that once you go from Hex to comet you need a shorter belt. The shaft size of the clutches are way smaller on a comet.
