I have various colors of clutch springs for the stock Rupp primary clutches, including:white,Lt. blue, red, black, yellow, green. Any others? Ok,70-71 use a red spring in the Sprint 29 & WT 634 & Lt blue in the Sprint 34 & 44. In what years[engine sizes] were the other color springs used? AND also, what is the clutch engagement for each of these colored springs? Thank you.

White spring was used for race.4000 rpm engagement depending on clutch wieght.Yellow spring was used for performance trail. Some early Magnums came with yellow some with white.

I will have a look and see if I can find some springs.I am sure that I have Blue and red but am running short of Yellow,Black and white. Not sure what the Orange and Green ones would do for my sleds.

I found my box of springs.Red=.150 wire size, 2.860 rest height Black=.147 2.775 torquoise=.150 3.040 Blue=.150 3.040 and is reverse wound I have not set up a jig for testing compression weight but generally the engine specs and what performance the rider prefers compared to clutch weight dictates what spring you would use.The higher the torque rating with the lower maximum RPM=the softer the spring. The lower the torque rating with the higher maximum RPM=the stiffer the spring.
Ruppluver,if you would like to trade some springs, give me a PM

Just picked up some more Rupp clutches, none had springs I can use, there was another yellow. I have 6 or so yellow ones I can't use. Still need RED & BLUE springs! Would prefer to deal with someone in the US or you Canada guys, ship it to a friend in the US & come down & pick them up. They can be shipped in a small FLAT rate box for about $5.50 or so. Let me know.
