I am looking for a 1.25 inch diameter suspension cross shaft for the leaf springs on a 1977 Nitro 440. I have a set of brand new springs but they were made for the larger shaft rather than the 1" stock shaft. Please let me know at wigman25@msn.com. Thanks!!

Wig, these springs you have take a 1.250 inch shaft? If you can not find one, we coould make you one using a stock shaft as a template and a new piece of 1.250 aluminum rod and turn it to specs. Let us know.

Red: The springs definitely have a 1.25" eyelet. I've never seen them before, don't know what model they may have come from but they are brand new. I actually would rather use the larger shaft size as it would provide more surface area for the springs to rest on - the original 1" versions wore into the shaft very quickly. If you could provide me with a cost estimate I w ould appreciate it. You can get me at wigman25@msn.com. Thanks.
