well the rumors are true, team 3d here at THE RUPP SHOP built a "Rupp" 440 ifs. this chassis is compliments of rapid race cars. it originally started out as a 81 ski-doo ifs. dick and his team of talents build some pretty amazing reproductions and highly recommend him for your ifs builds and parts!!! of course we had to change some things, to fit our motor into it but it's turning out great so far. it will be on the ice next weekend for testing. i personally love my leaf spring sleds and this year i will have my big 740 cc triple ready to go so i have decide not to drive this sled this year so i can concentrate on my leaf springs sleds. i may drive it at a race but we'll see. so,... i hired a excellent driver and my friend, Steve Henke to race this sled. Steve has been oval racing in the u.s.s.a. for years in all kinds of classes and is a board member of the u.s.s.a.. he brings great talent to our race team and i am looking forward to seeing him run this sled!!,....b.s.171

Very nice Bill! Been a Doo guy for 40 some years and just recently got into the Rupps. Still have some RV Doos. My favorites have always been the 78 & 81 SS &SM race sleds. You running Bombi power or Xenoah? Whatever combo works, giver he!! & take down some of the Poo's.

Larry , in the one picture you can see a Rupp cylinder. I'm guessing after this year all the other guys out there will be switching over to Xenoah power plants also. I'm sure that thing will rock !! Awesome job Bill. That is a work of art.
