I will be going again this year, but only bringing 2 sleds the 440 fanner and the 250 superstock liquid. Not sure why i still take sleds there the track gremlins always find a way to ruin the weekend. Im excited for the 250 and slightly worried about the 440. 440 Was very fast on the pond on saturday but i heard there is going to be an absolutly huge number of entries for that class due to the extra money that US Chrome is putting up for the class, could be alot of heat races. I just hope like heck that they turn this year, we have no way to test that part of it prior to the race.

Good luck Luke! I will be rooting for you especially in the 440 fan class. That is on my bucket list of things to do. ER or Bust!

Well i wouldnt get your hopes too high for doing good, i think that place is haunted in a way. If stuff can go wrong it will go wrong, or if your going to go in the ditch on the way up it will happen. True story. Remember that ride bro! I know i will not take my 800 magnum there again that is just too big of a track and im not sure if its my old age of 31 thats getting to me or what but it seems like every year the speeds are getting a little bit harder to really have fun with. The fanner this year after testing is going to be a hell of a ride and with what i heard of the amount for that class a guy could race 4 or 5 times just to get to the finals. Sled will be shot, i will be broken and i will be out of gas if that happens. (and im not planning on that)

Luke , how could I forget that ride ?? LOL !! I expected uncle Larry's trailer to be tight to the passenger side of the truck. But we made it. I'll get ahold of you after work to see where you are. See you up there. Josh

Hey Joe or Glenda do you know if Al Gould is racing this weekend? Havent heard a work about him. Was wondering if he ever finished up his 600 magnum, i hope he has it there to run the relic 800 class. I left mine home this year. My guess is this may be the last year for the relic 800 class.

Sprint, i've oval raced for about 6 years now it wasnt my first rodeo, everything ran really well, the 440 made it into the semi finals which i was happy with and the 250 was running very rich due to the warm weather, we tried to make a quick needle adjustment right before the race and the needles were already leaned out as far as we could go with the needles we had in it so we had to run what we had. Didnt get the doors blown off of it but that sled has alot more in it than what it had this weekend, it needs some more testing for sure. Had an awesome time and really great to see Jo and Glenda, Rupprat, Al Gould of course Elvis and his crew is always fun to hang with as well as a ton of new guys that we met. Gonna chaulk it up as a successful weekend and cant wait until the Wausau 525!!!

Eagle River was a blast !!! I had a hell of a time !!! Luke forgot one thing.... The sleds now corner pretty well. So this is a major accomplishment.

Oh yeah i did leave that out! Yeah it was nice to not smell what flavor or hay the track had this year, normally im so dam close to the bales coming out of the corners that i can smell the hay. Some more testing on the 250 and maybe some new top secret pistons and some new carb boots from snosnake for the 440 and bring on wausau.
