They should all be the same outside diameter. I replaced the aluminum shaft/drivers in my 76 Sport, with the green ones above/steel shaft.

Isnt the green drivers like 6 inch and the 8 tooth 7 inch? It would probably clear if yo dont plan on studding the track but if you stud it you may have clearance issues.

If you need more clearance, you can use aftermarket 7T A/C drivers. Same pitch, smaller diameter. You will have to get the hex hole bored to match the Rupp drive axle. I do this when I use a .725 lugged track.

It's always nice to know what others are doing when it comes to tracks/drivers. I will be doing more track replacements with the involute drivers. All my Sprints will be retrofitted with the 2.52 drivers/tracks.

I measured the black 8 lug drivers I have,a tad over 6" O.D. The drive lugs are 2 3/4" wide,another set,is 2 3/8" wide[drive lugs].The brand is IN or NI[an N with an I over the N].These have to be bored to 1 1/4" I.D.

the 8 tooth's are about 6.25 in diameter about the same as the base circle of a 10 tooth regular driver

I didn't have a clearance problem when I used this style driver. There isn't that much difference to really matter.
