Ya the sprint ran excellent , twice, only when idling it flat out stalled, one guy there said it had vapor on the tillotson. Showed me how to replumb my lines,block off the return line to the carb and T the return from the tank into the supply line. Not to sure about that,cause then the flow restrictor in ineffective. I think maybe it's the winderossa needle and seat causing problems. Might put the original back in.
The pic on the trailer is actually from a couple weeks ago, when I took them both out,they look good together on the trailer,lol so I included the pic. I have the nitro motor out,it must have had a bad bearing on the crank ,cause it got hot and locked up at idle,after my last two rides,took out the piston and cylinder on that side(scuffed). I picked up a bunch more FA parts locally,complete motor and two brand new nicasilled cylinders,spare crank,spare ignition and a couple more heads and cylinders. Great deal. My original crank will have all new bearings by Wednesday and I'll have it out on the weekend again.i got enough parts to have 3 complete 340s now,so I'm officially a hoarder,lol.
