So this was my first '73 Nitro 400, acquired about 3 1/2 years ago... Today was the 20th (and Final) Anniversary Morrison Flats Show, near Hepworth, Ontario...Roy Morrison, the property owner and show organizer is a big Rupp guy...so I knew I needed to bring a new Rupp project for the final show. Due to a variety of circumstances, I couldn't start working on this sled until about 2 1/2 weeks ago! Needless to say, it has been a hectic and all consuming endeavour. It's certainly not my best work (I finished getting it together enough to load on the trailer at 11am yesterday), and I need to put some finishing touches on it to be ready to ride this Winter...but it looks okay from 5 feet! LOL It was a good thing I had stripped another '73 and accumulated enough parts to be able t find everything I needed fairly quickly, as I had to get down to a bare chassis and back to a complete sled (it also needed "newish" drivers/idlers/ rear sprockets, along with my second best spare track...which had a fair bit of "shrinkage"!) I didn't take pictures throughout, only mostly through re-assembly!

looks great to me! What's that short windshield you have on there?

I traced the bottom part onto a broken '72 windshield, and then roughed out the top edge...cut with snips, sanded down the edges, painted with plastic paint, and added the chrome strip...my dimensions are a bit off, but I will fiddle with it a bit more when I have some time!
