Who knows how fast Mickeys old hotrod went? It was predicted to go 150. I've been searchin around and all I can find is it went 95 in Yellowstone in 69...

With the tracks available I would have a hard time believing 95. I don't think the tracks(and drivers)would have taken that kind of power. dc

95mph is what i have read also. speaking of the old super sno-sport, anyone heard whats the status of it? Saw it was found a few years ago. Be cool to see it all restored.

The last time I saw Phil I asked him how things were going with the Super Snow Sport? He said "well, I got it off the trailer and in the garage now" I guess that's progress?  I know someone that raced against it back in the day with a Rupp(think he said it was a 70 Magnum) running a modded out 650 hirth running on alchahol and beat it. For his efforts Rupp gave him a tricked out 73 Magnum to race for the season. Only bad thing was he had to give it back at the end of the year. Joe |

I could have sworn that there were some sneak preview pics online just before waconia's 2011 show? I swear there was some of the body. Might not have been out up by the owner, but it was also rumored to almost be finished for that show

He told me it would be done for Waconia 2011.. Hell it was going to have it's own tent.

I've heard the motor is pretty much finished(he actually found the original motor but owner will not sell it). I don't know anything about the fiberglass. Last I knew it was still on it and still blue. joe

The picture of it in the street with the Ford dealer in the background I believe is one I took. It was at the car/snowmobile show that is held in our town every Labor Day weekend. Still in the area but haven't seen much of it.

when I ran against the Snow Sport it was a 1/4 mile drag race, 1 mile speed run
