I picked these 2 up last night, basicly stole them, the price was so "cheap"!! 1971 Scorpion Stinger II on the left,a 1972 Sears Sportster 335 on the right.Ya,I know, I wasn't going to pick up more sleds.BUT the sled graveyard was so bare, had to put something in it!! I think I'll rebuild that Polaris triple, bent rod, rusted crank etc.NOT! I'll fix the Scorpion up for a rider, but will junk the Sears!!

It's a catch 22! I told my wife, this spring,I was done buying-----Rupps! She told me to go pick these 2 up.She could tell I was miserable,by not going out & picking sleds up.She actually enjoyed it too.

I haven't had time to look under the hood.I think the engine is siezed up.It was to cold today,to even go outside for to long.We were getting blasted by strong NW winds.Brrrrrr.

To cold for an old snowmobiler like you? You got the old part of it right!!! I don't mind the cold,as long as the sleds can be driven.

It looks like the seized engine,in the Sportster, is 335cc,has twin Mikuni carbs & also has hydraulic brakes. The sled needs way to much work for me to do.I bought the Scorpion & this was part of the deal, take both or none.I'll put both in cold storage this winter & figure out what I'll do with them next spring/summer.
