Nobody has any of these around? Or know how to make them? I have no examples to go off of. Any dimensions or anything?

If you want, send me your spindle and the cross bolt your using in it and I will make you one. I have a few of those spindles and to get the old bushing out was the pits. Had to cut it out and then the inside of the spindle is corroded pretty bad. Have to hone it out and I'm going to replace it with an high grade bushing bronze. Let me know if you want to do that.

I might be interested in that. How much would something like that run me?

Would cost you postage to and from.... Like I said earlier, when I took mine out, which was very difficult as I ended up cutting it out, the inside of that bore was corroded pretty bad and in need of clean up. Take yours out first and see what the bore is. If the bore is in good shape, measure the size of it and perhaps the bushings Bill or Rick have will work. If you just want to send it to me to do, that's OK too. Send me a PM and I can give you the details.

Kyle I would go with the brass ones if I was you.

Wow I feel so wanted! Lol! I don't know what direction I should go in, it's a racer so the most durable solution would be the best.

Steel, brass will wear, eventually! I'm guessing there are LOTS of race sleds out there, using the stock spindle steel sleeves. Some are 40+ years old.Just like the energizer bunny.I'm sure Bill S. would know which would be better. I had brass bushings on the axel of my snowblower, they wore just like anything else out there. It's a crap-shoot on this.Go with YOUR gut feeling.

Just to be clear, this isn't brass. It's an alloy bronze. Good material.

Kyle, He's right,, bronze is much stronger than brass.judging by the pictures of that 75' F/A stuff mrmotors made,, I would go with your gut(bronze) it is non corrosive as well. Clearly a No brainer
