I have never seen a 26 tooth Rupp Sprocket. I didn't even know they made one. If you go with a 10 tooth driver that will gear you up a little and go with a bigger top gear.

On a Gearing calculator I can gain alot more speed by dropping down to a 26 tooth. Polaris,Merc and the others have way more options than us Rupp guys. If I was running the Rupp Liquids I would have more options because of the Cat gearing. I bought a 26 tooth 35-2 sprocket which I will have machined to fit. When you get on a Track like Alexandria you got to have top end speed. 1974 Nitro II 340, 1974 Nitro II 440 and 1975 Nitro 340 FA I am more concerned with the 340 FA. What I gain on the top I hope I don't lose on the bottom. Like I told my dad when he raced most of the oval tracks were made of Snow not ice where you needed to gear low for power.
