Looking For Background Info on Rupp Race Sleds

I am a writer for Snowgoer Canada magazine and Snowtech.

I write about vintage sleds and the design/engineering breakthroughs
that specific sleds brought to the market or did not. I am putting
together a story for the fall Issue of Snow goer Canada magazine on
Rupp Magnum and Nitro sleds. Specifically I am going to focus on the
70-73 sleds.

I am looking for some real good photos showing the sled, engine,
drive train, suspension etc.

Also looking for some history and possible contacts of engineers
that worked on these sleds at Rupp. Lyle Forsgren that was put in
charge of the Merc snowtwister program actually worked for Rupp in
72/73 before joining Merc. Do you have any specific info that I could
use for the story.?

Hey Guys,
This guy's legit, he runs the Lake Belwood Vintage Ride every year and is a regular contributor to Sno-Goer...some of you other Rupp guys (Bill Stull??) must have some good info to help him out and get Rupp into the spotlight!

Thanks guys. As Bill metioned we talked over the weekend.I want to write about factual info only to let the new guys inot the sport know what Rupp was building for the race track back in the 70's.
