Brandt, no, those were my uncles that I cleaned and got running and then showed for him. Although he has called them mine on a few occasions, they are still his. And the neighbors think I'm a little on the nuts side with all of them but think they are very cool.

Hey Peab: Beautifull collection!! Mine is mostly a pile of unrestored future museum pieces (aka bushwhackin' finds). I see a liquid bumper lurking in the background up on the wall - where's the rest of the sled?

Thanx gang!!
Hey Wigman, mine are mostly unrestored too. The Yankees and the nitro II are the only ones with other than original parts. The one yankee has fiberglass uppers the other one has one glass lower and a center hood panel from a different yankee and snow-stuff windshield and the nitro II has a homemade windshield and aftermarket seat cover, the rest are the way they came. Oh yeah I forgot the 73 nitro has a homemade windshield too.
The liquid bumper came with a pile of parts so that is where I'll start my liquid collectiion. LOL I don't even know if it is good or not.

The 72 American 30 and one of the 73 Nitro's have been in the family since new. The Yankee's I picked up in the mid to late 80's for riding. The 72 American 40 I picked up in the late 90's as a second owner. This was before I knew of any vintage shows or racing. The 73 American 40 w/slides was in 01 and also second owner. All of these were stored in doors. The others I just found here and there and never paid more than 175.00 for any of them and 5.00 for both of the 71's and Yankees were free, traded a JDX4 for one but paid 100.00 for the trailer they were on. Some of these really aren't as good looking in person as on the photos. Gave away a JDX8 and 72 Nitro 400 in rough shape to a freind that is always there to help me out. Tom
