Hey Josh: Is that the '76 that did so well in the drags? Can't wait to see how you do with it next year, hope you keep running it - gotta teach some of them sno twisters a lesson! I am wondering, are you going to run it on the grass this summer or just keeping it for the snow? It's a great looking sled, those Mag's sure are mean looking! Wig

The 73 MAG is alot nicer !!!! The 76 is actually not so nice. But IT IS FAST. And yes it is the Magnum that runs very well. Over the summer I'm going to build the exact motor and pipes and stick it in my lightened up Magnum. There won't be any friends made for sure if i get that sled to its full potentual....

Oh yeah .... Cory .... yes them are willwood brakes. After pulling it from the garage and going to the first race to find out I had no brakes at all I had to do something about it !! I mean no brakes when I say no brakes !!! I had to go all the way to the end of the shut down to even start to turn around. It was kinda scarey. So I took extreme measures to make sure that wouldn't happen again. Them cable brakes suck. I don't trust them.

Hey Josh: On that '76 - do you have the pipes running straight out or do you keep the cans hooked up? I was told they really don't take any power away but they sure do save the eardrums! Have you tried it both ways to see if you gained anything by uncorking them? Years ago I made a bracket, jetted it up and ran mine without the cans - the noise was terrible and it shot oil all over everything like a paint sprayer!! I don't know if it performed any better, but it sure sounded like I was going like hell !!! Those Xenoah's were awfully loud without the mufflers. Wig
