I have a couple of 340 Nitro FA sleds that I am looking to sell and am trying to figure out what a reasonable price might be on them as it seems there haven't been many changing hands lately. I know condition is everything, but both of these are clean sleds, run well, etc....
The first is a bone stock sled right down to the original tether, side pad, track.. 9 out of 10 condition, aluminum skis, race tank. Purchased from Jay Sperry a number of years ago.
The second is a "restored" 340, although it is all original with the exception of a repainted Rupp Shop hood, Rupp Shop rebuilt engine and Comet clutch. I have the original hood and clutch that came off of it. This sled has the chrome "trail" skis and larger tank.
I also will be selling a rare '65 Sno Sport that is a bit rough but all there. Mainly interested in market values for the 340 FA sleds. Ideas??? Thanks!!!!!

Right click on your picture, click "send to", then "e-mail" and send them to yourself. Windows will ask you if you want to re-size them and click on the default which is "mid-sized" which will compress your photo file size and will be suitable for posting to the internet.
A serial number for the "65" would be helpful also... don't see too many of the old ones.
The F/A's look great but the 440's would most likely bring more money. If I were in the market I might spend between $2500-$3500 for those sleds. At the end of the day, they are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them... good luck and very nice sleds!

There are a couple of '66 models on the registry that start with serial numbers of "141xx" and a '67 that starts with "166xx". What engine does it have in it? Pictures are a must as the features of the sled will help identify it.

I will be bringing all of these sleds to Waconia to sell..... the two F/A's, a '69 GT370 and the early '65 or '66 Sno Sport. Also a load of parts, tracks, etc....
