Hi all, I'm thinking about selling my 250 Magnum. I really don't have a safe place to store the sled and would be sick if something happened to it. I also have some other projects that need to get done and the money isn't there. I like the sled but I guess I'm not the type of guy that should have a sled like this. I thought I would be fine with having a trailer queen, but I just can't do it. I want to be able to ride and not get sick if it got bumped or scratched.
So if anyone is interested, here is some information on the sled.
Was removed from the box in 1995, assembled, and raced by Chip Patterman Racing. He said it was raced approximately one season then sold to Ed Webb and sat in his collection until he auctioned off a large portion of his collection. A buddy of mine won the auction and then the Magnum went from Webbs to my buddies living room where it sat for 10 or so years. I then bought the sled and proceeded to get it running. I had to replace many items that had been taken off of the sled while at Webbs. I replaced the gears and chain with correct parts thanks to Racing Elvis. It was also missing the clutches so I bought a Nitro parts sled to get it figured out. I used the Nitros secondary clutch, but took it apart and cleaned it then reassembled it. The primary hex clutch was all gone through with refurbished factory parts as well as NOS rollers, weights, and cover. Carbs gone through, I replaced the pto seal due to some leakage, I didn't notice any leak on the mag side, all fuel lines replaced with red lines to match the sled, new 100LL fuel with semi synthetic Arctic Cat oil mixedand the sled was gone over front to back checking bolts and nuts and so on. I also had a cover made for it by Glenda.
I was able to drive the sled this last winter for the first trip on snow since 96-97. That was a blast. I put on about 3 miles, then put it away. As for original, it is about as original as they come. It is a time capsule for sure. Talking with Chip he guessed there would only be approximately 30 or so miles on the sled.
If interested let me know. I don't think there is a nicer unrestored Rupp 250 Magnum out there.

I can text or email pictures. I couldn't download any pics even at 497kb they wouldn't take them.
