A friend of mine came across two NOS tracks marked Rupp, in white paint, that are Kimpex numbers 04-620 and 04-650...he had no way to measure them...anyone have an idea what they are for?

I can't find anything on those numbers as they are obsolete. Measurements would help but even a general description would help eliminate some of the Rupp tracks. (single, dual, involute drive - etc.)

I have an old Central snowmobile salvage catalog and it does have the 04-650 number. It measurements are 17-1/4"X 120 9" center 2" pitch with 1-3/8 x 1-3/8 holes. That's the track that fits the Rupp wide track sleds I do believe. It does not have the 04-620 in it. It does show part number 04-625 which fits 74-78 Nitro, and 76 Rally. It has part number 04-640 double drive 15"x 120 fit 72 and 73 Nitro's. Part number 04-630 is in there and it measure's 15"x 120 which fits the narrow tracks I do believe. I have some older Bay City catalog at home it might have the number in it. Hope this helps. Clint

The Kimpex 04-620 fits the 74-75 Nitro fans perfectly as I just pulled one out of a 74/75/76/77 Nitro (lol). It is even 16.5" wide like the originals. It is an exact match except for the internal lugs running offset every 10" down the middle of the track which do not interfere with anything in the Rupp suspension.
