I have a 76 alouette brute that that is only firing on 1 cylinder and the fuel is filling up the exhaust. It runs just not on both cylinders . Any help is appreciated

Is it the PTO cylinder? If it is, then it probably has a bad fuel pump. The fuel pump diaphragm gets bad and leaks fuel in the crank case and flood the cylinder. First I would make sure that you have good compression on both cylinders, and make sure you have spark on both also. But it sound like it is the fuel pump, which is a common problem. Hope this helps.
