Hi Dave, re the Ski's, ive seen a few Alouette's in 76 with these on, though the Brochures dont show it. The Ski-Sorber suspension was standard in 75 for sure...im guessing they sent out the 76's with these on as well. I added the ski- spreaders and the Wider Handle Bars I gotta tell ya (this may be considered Heresy on this board), while i do like the look of the sled, i could have been soooo much better....... i think the guy that designed the 76 Nitro /Alouette was on the "B Team ". I gotta think an "A Team" wouldnt have a massive Bumper/Exchanger out front to get clobbered and broken by a tree, or taking what basic beautiful asthetics closely resembled the Magnum and scarring it with a hunk of Aluminum. not only that but the Radiator in this puppy is as big a s the one in my Hemi Ram  , then to top it off they then had to carve up the bottom of the hood to cope with all the Bumper/Exchanger hoses and brackets.....looking at the Brochure's im thinking they started with a simpler cleaner look, found they had cooling issues and developed a large aluminum band aid to cope with it... thoughts ? |

Nice work. I think all of us appreciate the amount of time you spent. I have to agree with your comments. If I get one of these or a Nitro I think you could make it look like a Magnum fairly easy.
BTW, how does the neighbor kid ride his Mtn. Bike w/out his handle bar?

the Kid and his mountain bike are fine, but his big brothers MotoCross bike sure does look odd with Alouette Ape Hangers on it ;D
(theyre Renthal Moto Cross Bars, i was looking for a straighter set of bars than the ape hangers it came with...this was as close as i could get without going crazy on the $)
