Is there a way to repair the red plastic on the Rupps? I have some sections missing on the lower panel sides, just below the doors, right in front of where I plant my foot.It would be the section just to the rear of the end of bumper. I can get the plastic and make the pieces, but don't know how to fasten them together. I haven't seen a Rupp yet that has good plastic on them and are driven. I can do fiberglassing and other bodywork, but this red plastic has me baffled.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Ruppluver: I think the best you can do os get new reproduction panels - easy to buy, very reasonable, and saves a ton of work! Those original plastic ones are real tough to repair. Wig

Dave: What kind of paint did you use for the gas tank? It looks like the original metal color. Wig

Hey Wig,
I used a Rustolium spray. Metalic finish was the color.
