We finally figured out a way for the XLS documents to be read by all. ;D The ol' trusty SCRIBD. document reader. Check it out and send him "your" Rupp info and when he has a chance he will update the list. Thanks Travis for doing this registry project, everyone really appreciates your time and efforts. I'll need to find the S.N. at a later date. This sled is in the process of getting a 340 or 440 L/C Xenoah engine installed, chassis & body mods. I'll send you more updates in the future. 1976 Rupp Nitro 440 L/C Chassis S.N. 5-100559 This sled does not have the original engine! I did removed a Xenoah G34BWR S.N. 3-500430 from this sled. Travis i have 2 nitros a 1976 440 L/C ser#50004999 the second is a 1977 440 L/C ser# 7600646 mfg date on 76 is 11/75 on 77 10/76 ..............thanx travis can u register them for me plz

Does someone know why some 1976 Nitro's start with 510 and some start with 76? Are they like Scorpions? First 2 numbers are the build date meaning that a serial number starting with 76 would be actually be a 1977?

only some 76 nitro's start with 510, most 76 nitro's started with 500 serial #. the 77 nitro started with 76 serial #. also, all 76 magnums started with 510.
