Last week my son and I bought two 73 magnums that had been sitting in a garage since 1990. They were drove in the garage when parked. They came with two extra sets of pipes and two extra tr440sr-3 engines. The one magnum has a wide front end. It was raced by Joel overbaugh that raced for the chaparral factory race team. The person i bought them from had purchased them from joes dad in 1989. They were sitting all those years about ten miles from the A1 show.

The person i bought them from said that joels brother inlaw owned the Rupp dealership in houghton lake mi ( skips). He said he put a wanted ad in the newspaper for rupp parts and joels dad called him and said he had the parts and then ended up buying the sled. This was in 1989 or 1990. When i was buying the magnums and he said he wanted me to know the history of the race sled. It had alot of trick stuff done to the sled. lowerd chain case, lighten skid, handle bars widend, wide frontend, track
