Seems like there isn't much going on the ole rupp message board so im assuming that everyone must be hard at it out in the shops. We are definately neck deep in projects that is for sure. Between me trying to help a buddy build a superstock oval 73 eltigre and trying to find time to finish building a new drag mod FA sled we just took delivery of a true gtx 740 that a guy wants us to do a partial restoration on. It showed up as a bare tunnel and 7 boxes of parts so again we have our work cut out for us. I tried to post pictures but it says the pictures are too large and our new site wont accept, but oh well. What you guys all up to? Hey Luke lets see some pictures of the 740 GTX You are rebuilding. Thats one cool seld and I bet a lot of guy's on here would love to see it.

I'm thinking about doing that to the sprint I'm working on, how much is a full n/t rally seat for a 71 sprint Rick? I'm making a pure racer out of her so no lights necessary.

Rick, we haven't gotten much done with gtx. With bowhunting and gun season pretty much done, now we will try to get going on it a bit heavier. Had to tear apart all the bogie suspension brackets and try and get the shop cleaned up first, to not further the mess. And now that the old man is retired hopefully he can get out there and get to blasting. Don't know what happened but spring seemed to turn into fall.

Oh yeah rick and one other thing, the guys seat cover was junk so I told him to contact you. I know its a bit longer than a standard magnum seat. So im not sure if he contacted you or not.

Bit by bit piece by piece. It is coming together. I couldn't believe my first attempt to get it to spark.... it DID !! I filed the points a little and cleaned them up. When it sparked on both sides first try I almost fell over. There is lots of stuff to do yet. But we have a good start.

Kinda funny how a busch light can always seems to make it into any picture that comes from our shop! We are hoping the guy will allow the hood and belly pan to get a paint job and the correct gtx 740 decals, those dissapeared off the hood years ago.
