Seems like there isn't much going on the ole rupp message board so im assuming that everyone must be hard at it out in the shops. We are definately neck deep in projects that is for sure. Between me trying to help a buddy build a superstock oval 73 eltigre and trying to find time to finish building a new drag mod FA sled we just took delivery of a true gtx 740 that a guy wants us to do a partial restoration on. It showed up as a bare tunnel and 7 boxes of parts so again we have our work cut out for us. I tried to post pictures but it says the pictures are too large and our new site wont accept, but oh well. What you guys all up to?

Sorry I pushed the wrong button. We finally got a vintage racing circut here in Colorado. It's been going on for two seasons, I only made one race last year, and got my butt handed to me. I was racing a 76 liquid Nitro, that I just threw together wrong, these guy's means business. So now I'm building a fresh motor for my 76 and among other things that I'm doing to the sled, and than when we get some snow take it out and test, tune, test, tune, and test and tune some more. I'm also putting together a 75 Nitro fan for the stock fan cool class. I'm going to try to represent Rupp better this year. Clint

Have my 1971 Rupp 23 sprint suspension apart, had to replace the drivers. Track is toast so now im waiting to find one . Still have my 1976 rupp nitro 340 to work on too, motor is out and waiting for a rebuild. Been throwing around the idea of dropping in a 1992 arctic cat ext motor in it though.

I have no idea what they are or what they came off i got them at Princeton and with some small adjustments fit pretty well. I took it out today for the first test and it was less then great. The clutching was wayy off it wouldnt engage until about 6400 then i made one little pass and it died never to start again so my jetting might be a bit rich. I put a mikuni on it and had no idea where to start. So i can go from there now
