This is an original bulkhead. I hammered it out, ground all the cooties off of it. Welded up the pan where it was cracked and broken. Did some additional welding on it in places that seemed like it should've been welded to start with for rigidity. Put in a row of structural screws along the back edge. Turned out OK. They did a nice job powder coating it. Pic's are a bit crappy.

Got these done finally. Had them powder coated a nice silver metallic. Keep them from corroding and getting cruddy again.

These are finally done. I had the NOS Rupp carbides, however when I repaired the hogged out mounting holes on the ski bottoms with bushing's, the original mounting studs on the carbide were to short. I cut them off and welded cut down stainless bolts on for three of them. I drilled and tapped the very front one as due to the bend in the ski, 4 studs weren't going in. Hoots loaned me one of his ski's so I can get the original F/A long leaf made. Get those done and I got it made on these.

Magnesium chaincase fixed up and painted with PPG black, see if the paint stay's stuck. They tell me magnesium can be touchy with paint. I know it will start to surface corrode within a couple hours of it being bead blasted and the raw metal exposed.

Making slow progress. Attaching pieces to one of the new tunnels. Got a few more things to do to it and then take it all apart. Going to powder coat the tunnel and have to get a bunch of other parts CAD plated and powder coated. Doing initial assy with bolts to make sure it all fit's like it's supposed to.

Hi Dan, Thank You, appreciate the comments. It is moving along slower than molasses in the Red River Valley in January though! That nasty 4 letter word keeps getting in the way (work). Thanks, Mike
