I think they will come and go. Some will be swapping, some racing and others just walking around. Some may not even know we are doing it til they see us. The grill will be ready any time and I have 4 bottles of propane.

If you are coming with a sled to show (not swapping or racing too)(They know what to do). Exit from 169 west on 95 then north on 102. Go to the vendors enterance and tell them you are with the vintage club on the hill. They will send you up to us and we'll get you the wristbands there as far as I was told. I have a big red, black and crome trailer at our spot. There may not be to many spots to park near there so come early. If just visiting, exit west on the rum river dr exit that is north of 95 as we are closer to the main entrance. Then pay the front gate.

All I heard for two days was "have you seen those Rupp's on the hill. They sure look great" or along that line.
I think Dennis and Tom did a fantastic job! Way to go!!

Looks like a great start to another Rupp tradition. I wish I could have made it. Next year it will be on my calendar for sure. Great job!

Did Rupp make any Nitro "racers" for 77? My sled has an all aluminum skid. It also has aluminum exhaust baffles, clutch guard along with other components.

Very unique suspension, The sno pro sleds had light weight parts similar to what you have, even the bolts look aluminum. Very interesting.

The serial number seems to be quite unique as well.

Gene Bloom mentioned weight was a big deal with the testing of sleds when snow goer magazine released their annual report and recommendations. He tested Rupps for the annual snow goer mag. in west Yellowstone. All sleds were to be topped off with fuel and then weighed in. He had a funny story about this. His sled was topped off with gas and just before his weigh in he told them he had to relieve himself so he took the sled behind a large sign and tipped it to drain out the gas to make it lighter and returned. Maybe this was a sled built for just that to get the weight down as much as possible to compete with the other sled manufacturers. The sled just doesn't appear to be a race sled. One more unanswered questioned about a cool sled.

No Sir just show up and have some fun. You might want to talk to Dennis or Tom (MrPeabody) about how to get in so you don't have to pay admission if you bring a Rupp fun machine . I think they want the sleds there Friday and Saturday. I do believe you can get in on Thursday.
I could be wrong on some of this so it would be best to talk to one of them.

No Rick, you are correct. We get there thurs afternoon and start setting up, finish Fri morn. If you bring sleds/fun machines, have them there well before gates open on Friday or they may not want to let you in.
We'll update everyone as it gets closer. It wouldn't be a bad idea to start planning early (so everyone gets their projects done). Plus it will help us plan the layout if we know what all was coming.
