now ready for sale 77-78 440 xenoah rupp connecting rod kit $124.99 per rod set, one rod, one bearing ,one pin, two thrust washers, free shipping , you will need two rod sets to do both both cylinders ,Attachment Deleted I have rod kits for the other xenoah engines also , have crank bearings also this 77/78 rod kit is used on the 77/78 crank with 25 mm crank pins these cranks have 6 mainbearing the rest of the xenoah stuff has 22 mm crank pins

Wondering, is there enough wiggle room in a 440 to make a 500? What kind of hp could one expect if it is even possible.

you can make a 484 out of a 76 440 the sleeves get real thin, it makes a lot more torque on lower end ,

if your going to yank that crank right here,s a junk scored case milled and line bored for 76 nitro with recut pilot for stator , yes old crankcases can be saved Attachment Deleted

all the engine rebuilding machine work I do, the the billet stuff for resale I make the proto type then have cnc machined by some one else, I have digtal readouts on my mills and lathe but way to slow to duplicate many piece,s at a timeAttachment Deleted gary your sled looks great

thought I would bump this post up, I have some new wrist pin bearings in todayAttachment Deleted made to oringnal spec,s chrome moly cages, other things in the works are new wiseco 440 piston,s with no reed hole,s but a higher dome height similar to the old j&l piston,s new water manifold for my billet heads, ans stud griddle kit for them also, and a new programmable ignition system, castings are done should be ready soon
