Bulkhead repairs done. Time to start putting it back together. Got the last skid part fixed also. Moved the arms that hold the wheels in so the Polaris Indy track will fit.

Looks like a nice job on the swing arm, those things are a pain. If you haven't done so, I would suggest you check the straightness of the cross tube. I made new shafts for mine that fit fairly snug. Having said that, the welding I had done warped the tube and would not let the cross shaft slide through. I spend a lot of time on the press pushing the thing around and straightening it up. After that, I honed it to finish making it straight. There was almost nothing on mine that was straight even though it looked to be in pretty good shape.

When I did the Indy track conversion on Rupp #2, I did not check the cross tube for straightness till after it was painted. I did learn from my past experience and checked this one before it was sent to the powder coater. It did require a little adjusting in the press. This swing arm was in better shape than the last one and didn't need any other fixing. Bulkhead & tunnel are officially as one again.

That is exactly what I did on the 1st one too....

Is that a 76 chain case with the original brake embossment machined off? 76 brake rotor and jackshaft? Cat roller secondary fits keyed shaft or splined?

Are you going to install a front bumper on the Magnum front end?

Very nice work, I was looking at the great build photos of the nitro these are really going to help me get my project going again as I really had no idea how it all went together since mine was in a million pieces. Thanks for sharing.

Are you going to install a front bumper on the Magnum front end? No bumper. I want to do something simular to this with my 76 Rupp Nitro. Where do you get the fiberglass pan and hood? Price? What mods do you have to do to the bulk head? Thanks!
